Large home, sleeps10, Close to Amsterdam. Looking for warmer places november till march

Wij hebben een groot, mooi huis in een rustige buurt met vriendelijke buren. Het is gelegen in een prachtige omgeving. 

Een bushalte ligt op 10 minuten lopen. De bus naar het treinstation stopt daar elke 30 minuten, maar na 19.00 uur gaat de bus elk uur. Het treinstation van Gouda  ligt op 20 minuten fietsen of 15 minuten met de auto. Met de trein kunt u alle grote Nederlandse steden bereiken.

Het is 10 minuten lopen naar een klein winkelcentrum. Reeuwijk heeft  onder meer 2 supermarkten, een slager, bakker, en een aantal restaurants. 

De Reeuwijkse Plassen zijn dichtbij. Het is 6 minuten fietsen of auto naar een zwemmeer, waar ook gewindsurfd kan worden. Andere meren om te zeilen en varen zijn ook vlakbij.

Het centrum van de gezellige, Middeleeuwse stad Gouda ligt op 20 minuten fietsen, 15 minuten met de auto. Gouda heeft veel winkels, cafés en restaurants, vooral rond de Markt.

Ons huis is zeer centraal gelegen. Vlakbij de A12 snelweg, zonder dat u daar last van hebt. Het strand van Scheveningen en Rotterdam, Utrecht, Leiden en Den Haag liggen op ongeveer 30 minuten rijden met de auto. Amsterdam Centrum ligt op 45 minuten rijden. Er zijn prachtige oude steden (Gouda, Oudewater, Schoonhoven, Woerden, Dordrecht) in de buurt.

La Place: on the way to Bodegraven, Next to McDonalds; you will find La Place restaurants throughout the Netherlands, good value for money.

Traveling in the Netherlands

The best way to travel for you is by car. For short distances you can use our bicycles. Watch out for cyclists, they are everywhere and have no lights at night. Trains run regularly from Gouda station, but are quite expensive. Parking is very expensive in the Netherlands, especially in Amsterdam and Utrecht, but it is still cheaper than traveling by train with 2 or more people.

In Amsterdam, park your car in P+R RAI and take Metro line 52 (direction Noord) and get off at Rokin or Central Station. If you return to the P&R by metro, the parking fee is only €1. travels with an OV card that you can buy in the parking garage. The others can use a pin. Check beforehand if it's open.

Cycling routes:

In the Netherlands we have a system that allows you to cycle from one numbered node to another, called 'nodes'. You will see them on most maps. There is also a phone app called 'cycle route network'. Please note: In the Netherlands you cycle on the road or on a special cycle path. It is forbidden to drive in pedestrian areas or on the sidewalk. We do not recommend cycling in Amsterdam or Utrecht! Try Reeuwijk and Gouda first!

Around the Reeuwijkse Plassen: to Hekendorp and then on to Haastrecht.

Along the Vlist from Haastrecht to Schoonhoven.

Along the river Meije from Zwammerdam to Woerdense Verlaat.

On the Middelburgseweg, near Reeuwijk-Dorp, you can see a good example of a polder.The land on one side of the road is about four meters below the water level.

Beaches:

All beaches are sandy. It will be busy on a hot day on the weekend. But beware of the undertow in the sea.

The Hague, Scheveningen: busy, but many restaurants on the beach. Take a look at the Kurhaus (just inside, it's a hotel) and visit the Pier. Parking: Zwolseweg

Katwijk aan Zee, fishing village. Very nice.

Noordwijk aan Zee, nice but a bit chic.

Wassenaar- Wassenaarse Slag. Very simple beach, no promenade and only a few restaurants.

Wij zijn 2 gepensioneerden, die graag reizen. Soms reizen we met 2 andere volwassenen. Wij zijn erg flexibel, en kunnen bijna altijd ruilen. Wij ruilen het liefst simultaan. Wij staan open voor ruilen in 2024 en 2025.

Wij zijn op zoek naar een woningruil of verzorgen een huis in een grote stad of in hun directe omgeving. Londen, Frankrijk, Spanje, Portugal, Italië, Griekenland of met een camper. We zouden graag willen ruilen met New York, Parijs, Stockholm, Berlijn, Edinburgh, Dublin, Caribisch gebied. Of verras ons! Wij zoeken een plek met minimaal 2 aparte bedden en het liefst voor 14 dagen of langer, maar dat is bespreekbaar. Wij zorgen graag voor uw dieren, mits ze de hele dag alleen kunnen worden gelaten. Wij laten liever geen honden uit, vanwege voetklachten (Ledderhose). Uw goed opgevoede huisdier kunt u meenemen naar ons huis.

We zijn graag in ons huis op 5 december, Kerstmis en Nieuwjaar. We staan ​​open voor ruilen in 2024 en 2025.

Wij hebben ruim 40 keer geruild, vaak via Homelink https://homelink.org/en/homeexchange/Netherlands/amsterdam%252c-40km-sw/2027   Wij hebben reviews. Onlangs wisselden we ook via een Facebookgroep. Wij hebben een Housemanual en hebben veel informatiefolders en boeken over de omgeving. We zijn graag in ons huis op 5 december, Kerstmis en Nieuwjaar. 

Onze gehele woning is voorzien van horren, zonneschermen en verduisteringsgordijnen.

De meeste televisietoestellen beschikken over kabeltelevisie en bieden Nederlandse, Belgische, Duitse en Franse televisie aan. We kunnen onder meer BBC1, 2, 3, 4, World en Entertainment bekijken. Beneden is er Netflix op 2 televisies.  We hebben een kast vol bordspellen.

Er is goede WiFi in het hele huis

Alle Noordzeestranden zijn zandstranden. De meeste stranden hebben restaurants. Scheveningen is een stadsstrand, met veel restaurants.

Wij wonen dichtbij de Reeuwijkse Plassen.  Daar kan je in zwemmen.  Er wordt op gesurft en gevaren.
